After your call with Kaitlyn and her team that confirms your order and payment, Kaitlyn will include you in her queue to create and deliver tailored recommendations exclusively for you. There are multiple choices available for She Roams NYC plans based on your budget, timeline and preferences. Please visit the Let’s Plan Your Trip page to see prices.

For custom Travel Plans, Kaitlyn offers personalized recommendations on how to maximize your time, but currently does not handle bookings or reservations – this is up to the recipient. Depending on your preferences, she may assist with hotel bookings to ensure that you receive exclusive perks. However, for Retreats, Kaitlyn and her team handles reservations.

Every Travel Plan and Retreat is meticulously crafted by our founder, Kaitlyn Micali, while her small, but mighty team, oversees administrative tasks.

The standard turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. If you require your She Roams NYC Travel Plan earlier, rush requests can often be accommodated with an $150 rush fee for Premiere Plans and a $200 rush fee for Platinum and Diamond Plans.
Kaitlyn suggests selecting your Travel Plan at between 3-6 months ahead of your intended departure, allowing her to provide the latest, up-to-date recommendations for New York City, as well as insights on special exhibits and events during your stay. However, if you wish to secure your accommodations earlier, you are welcome to secure a rush order for your She Roams NYC via the survey that you will need to fill out before your consultation with Kaitlyn and her team.
Thanks to Kaitlyn’s connections with New York City hotels, she can often secure the best rates for you, along with additional amenities for you to enjoy during your visit. Booking through Kaitlyn might entitle you to benefits such as complimentary breakfast, early check-in/late check-out (subject to availability), VIP welcomes, complimentary upgrades (subject to availability), and Food & Beverage or Spa credits to use during your stay at the property. Kaitlyn will take your budget, location preferences, length of stay, previous visits to New York City, party size, and travel dates into consideration to curate personalized hotel recommendations for your consideration.

We try to limit the size of our Retreats to 6-8 travelers in order to foster stronger bonds and a cohesive dynamic. The smaller size also allows for more personalized experiences and flexibility in activities, ensuring a more personalized and immersive experience for each participant. You will also have your seasoned tour guide to lead the group, navigate the city, ensure a flawless trip and allow participants to fully enjoy their retreat.

To ensure that our Retreats are enjoyable for all participants, we make sure to choose a dynamic mix of applicants based on their preferences for travel. We want to facilitate quality friendships that will last you long after your trip with us.

While we would like to keep the participants together during Retreats, we do offer pockets of down time to explore or relax. Please note that we do not fund additional activities and/or food/beverage outside of those pre-planned on your Retreat itinerary.
